Walmer Residences

Presentation Suite Forest Hill Marble & Quartzite Fabrication & Install
01 · The Brief

A presentation suite where the stone is the architecture — book-matched walls, carved-from-solid sinks, and a waterfall island, all cut to read as one continuous block.

02 · The Craftsmanship

At Walmer, the brief was singular: let the material carry the room. That demands fabrication where the seam disappears and the vein tells the story.

The living wall is mirror-matched across four consecutive slabs, opening into a symmetrical chevron that meets perfectly at the centreline. In the principal bath, the vanity, basin, and apron are carved as one — an integral sink with no visible joint, the vein running uninterrupted from deck into bowl.

Every miter is hand-finished to a 45° dead-sharp edge, every backsplash slab-matched to the counter below. Nothing is tiled that could be cut from a single piece.
