101 Spadina

Presentation Gallery Downtown Toronto Quartzite & Marble Fabrication & Install
01 · The Brief

A downtown presentation gallery where stone sets the first impression — a sculptural café bar, a monolithic model podium, and stone-clad washrooms, each cut to read as one continuous block.

02 · The Craftsmanship

101 Spadina is the first room buyers walk into — so the brief was simple: let the stone carry the moment. That demands fabrication where the seam disappears and the vein tells the story.

The reception bar wraps a backlit brass arch in book-matched Patagonia quartzite, its waterfall ends mirror-matched so the vein runs unbroken from counter to floor. The central model podium is mitred from grey marble into a single sharp-edged monolith, the veining carried clean around every corner.

In the washrooms, each floating vanity is carved from a single slab — basin, deck, and apron reading as one piece, the vein never interrupted by a visible joint.
